Dessert Bar ChikaLicious

When you go to a restaurant, do you like to order from the pre-fix menu? Many restaurants in NYC offer a pre-fix menu, and we like to try the pre-fix menu to learn more about the restaurant. Have you ever heard of, or tried a pre-fix dessert only course? Does it it sound good? Today, I'd like to introduce you to my favorite dessert place, ChikaLicious in the East Village of NYC.

レストランのコース料理はお好き？ニューヨークではいろんなお店でコースメニューを楽しめるから、私達はそのお店の事を良く知る為にも、コースメニューがあれば出来るだけコースで注文するようにしてます。みんなは、デザートだけのコースを体験した事ある？甘いもの好きな人には、魅力的やろ？今日はコースでデザートが楽しめる私の大好きなニューヨークイーストビレッジにあるお店ChikaLiciousをご紹介したいと思います。

On the right is Chika, the chef/owner of ChikaLicious. She makes beautiful, unique and sophisticated dessert like art.

彼女がチカさん（右側）彼女がここのオーナーシェフ。彼女が作るデザートは美しくユニークそして洗練されたアートのようです。

I like that they have an open kitchen. I can look at how do they make their beautiful desserts.

私はオープンキッチンからシェフが綺麗なデザートを作っているのを見るのが好き。

Amuse : Granny apple sherbet

アミューズ : リンゴのシャーベット

The pre-fix comes with a wine pairing that goes well with the dessert you order. 

オーダーしたデザートに合った、ワインペアリングをオーダーする事も出来ます。

Main : Warm chocolate tart for me.

メイン : 私は温かいチョコレートタルトをオーダーしました。

Main : Cheese cake for hubby.

メイン : 夫はチーズケーキをオーダーしました。

Petit fours : coconuts marshmallow, sesame shortbread, chocolate cookie.

Petit fours : ココナッツマシュマロ、セサミクッキー、チョコレートクッキー。

I always have a great time when I go to ChikaLicious. If you are in NYC, I recommend that you go there to experience a wonderful time.
